It is with a very heavy heart to have to announce the passing of Bill Dill. There is nothing that meant more to him than his team and his moto family. He\u2019s left a permanent foot print in the moto industry and has touched so many lives.<\/p>\n

From his daughter Kailyn-<\/strong> This afternoon, while watching qualifying with myself, sister, and family by his side my daddy left this world and rode away into the sky. My dad lived life harder than anyone I\u2019ve ever met, he worked hard and played even harder, he lived the life style most of us only dream of. There\u2019s absolutely no words to express the sadness I feel and I\u2019m not too sure how I\u2019m going to navigate my way through a life without my best friend but I find peace knowing he\u2019s somewhere warm, riding his bike, drinking tequila, soaking up the sun, free of pain. You\u2019ve won the race dad, #35 forever\ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n

As for racing goes, I made a promise to my daddy, his legacy will live on and the 3D Racing flag will continue to fly\ud83d\udc99\ud83c\udfc1<\/p>\n

After numerous appointments with oncologists to build a treatment plan, Bill has started a 6-week daily treatment chemotherapy and radiation program to stop the growth of his tumor and will finish on 4\/21. He is getting treatment at the Dana Farber Cancer Treatment Center in Boston MA, considered one of the best cancer centers in the whole world. Along with that, he has been meeting with a holistic doctor to take his treatment and health the extra mile.<\/p>\n

Despite the cancer diagnosis and all the threats that come with it, Bill has been his usual high-spirited self and refuses to be another statistic. Racing is in his blood and all he knows so he\u2019s treating this as a race, he\u2019s already got the holeshot and with everyone\u2019s help, prayers and support he will win this race against glioblastoma.<\/p>\n

This is the official fundraising campaign to support 3D Racing privateer motocross team Owner\/Manager Bill Dill, who has been diagnosed with Stage 4 glioblastoma. Due to the aggressive nature of this type of cancer, Bill\u2019s treatment plan is still being assessed by his doctors at Mass General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, but he will begin an extensive daily treatment of both chemo and radiation for the first six weeks.<\/p>\n<\/div>

After experiencing weeks of chronic headaches, Bill went to the hospital on February 1, 2021, experiencing stroke-like symptoms such as loss of feeling in his left side and unsteady balance, and that is when doctors discovered his tumor. On February 5, Bill underwent a craniotomy brain tumor resection to treat the cancer and he will soon begin chemotherapy, radiation, and other potential treatments and therapies. Although Bill does have medical insurance, he is expected to be out of work for the foreseeable future as he fights for his life.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Bill started racing locally at his hometown in Massachusetts when he was 10 years old and he won his first championship at the prime age of 15 and he held the AMA national number 93. In 2000, he decided to switch roles and start a pro team called 3D Racing, where he has since helped countless privateers achieve their dream of racing professionally. He is the team owner, manager, truck driver, mechanic, and everything in between and he could be described as one of the guys that continuously keep giving and putting everything into the sport and expecting nothing in return. Bill lives and breathes racing and has dedicated his entire life to the sport.
