The Road 2 Recovery Foundation is pleased to announce details for the 4th Annual Jessy Nelson MX School, to be held on Thursday, December 19 in Pala, California. Riders of all ages and skill levels will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from some of the nation’s top motocross/supercross riders and coaches at a premier stop of the AMA Pro Motocross National circuit at Fox Raceway. With the support and generosity of the motorcycle community, proceeds from this event will go to benefit Jessy Nelson and Micky Dymond in their R2R Funds.

This year’s star-studded lineup of coaches includes Jessy Nelson, Cole Seely, Broc Tickle, Blake Savage, Jeff Ward, Doug Dubach, Ryan Honstein, Brandon Mays and Carlen Gardner. The event will kick off on Thursday morning at 8 a.m. with registration and breakfast, followed by a Rider/Coach Meeting at 9 a.m. Participants will receive ample riding time with their coaches as the first two sessions take place from 10 a.m. – 2:20 p.m., before a catered lunch at 12:25 p.m. Riders will then hit the track once again from 1:30 – 3:55 p.m. for the final two rounds of riding, and the day will conclude with an information-packed Q&A session with riders, coaches and vendors to provide a complete breakdown of the day’s activities. To make sure that each attendee gets the quality time needed to increase their skills, the school will be capped at 100 entries.

With a minimum donation of $150 per rider, participants will have a full day packed with years of knowledge and experience. Participants can expect small class groups and they’ll gain valuable skills from the best in the business. Coaches will be split into groups of two with a focus on specific parts of the track, including starts, turns, big jumps and “S-turns.” With your donation, you will receive a complimentary breakfast, delicious lunch, a swag bag, and access to the Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team mechanics for help with any small mechanical needs.

Micky Dymond, a two-time AMA 125cc National Motocross Champ, recently suffered a serious head injury while training on a road bike. Motocross and Supercross fans will be able to race against some of the legends in the sport to help raise money. So far Jeff Ward, David Bailey, Grant Langston, Jeff Emig , Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and three-time kart national champion Billy Musgrave are among the riders who have committed. This is your chance to race karts against some of the sport’s biggest names from the past and present, and the list grows daily.

The evening will be hosted by DJ Louie Ochoa with a truly legendary autograph signing open to the public from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. There will be an amazing silent and live auction, tons of raffles items and more. This event is going to be a great time for the whole family and all for a cause near to our hearts; Micky Dymond.

Everyone had such a great time last year at Top Golf Las Vegas, that we have decided to go back. This year we are going to start a bit later in the day to accommodate those who are flying into Vegas on Friday and riders who have early press. The festivities will start at 1 pm PST for registration and play will start at 1:30 pm.

All proceeds from this event will help R2R fund the Injured Rider Endowment, MX/SX Rider Ministry, and the Alpinestars Mobile Medical Center. Thanks to the support of our amazing partners, we are proud to say that Road 2 Recovery has never turned down an injured professional athlete in need of assistance and have been able to give over 7 million dollars to causes that fit our mission.

The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki racing team is showing their support for Road 2 Recovery (R2R) by donating Adam Cianciarulo’s and Garrett Marchbanks’ winning plastics from the San Diego Supercross for auction. The team has joined forces with Road 2 Recovery (R2R) in an effort to increase awareness and raise funding for the 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.

Two one-of-a-kind sets will be available via a worldwide eBay auction beginning on February 13, 2019, at 9 a.m. PST. The first item is the complete set of plastics off of Adam Cianciarulo’s Kawasaki KX250 – the exact same set used en route to victory at the San Diego Supercross. The other set is Garrett Marchbanks’ San Diego Supercross second-place winning Kawasaki KX250 complete set of plastics. Both plastic sets include an autographed number plate by either Cianciarulo or Marchbanks.

These plastics are a one-off creation, designed specifically for the San Diego Supercross military appreciation event. They hold a significant prominence as both sets landed on the podium, bringing home a first and second place result for the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team. All proceeds from this auction will go to R2R’s injured rider fund; ensuring that any pro AMA licensed Motocross or Supercross athlete with a debilitating injury will be financially supported.

Limited Edition Graphics Kit For Sale

The Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing team bikes will have a different look on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium for round 12 of the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross series. The team has joined forces with the Road 2 Recovery (R2R) Foundation in an effort to increase awareness and raise funding for the 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.

The Suzuki RM-Z450s of Weston Peick and Malcolm Stewart, along with the Suzuki RM-Z250s of Justin Hill, Kyle Peters and Phil Nicoletti, will share a unique graphic design that incorporates the Road 2 Recovery colors. The Suzuki plastics, along with individual rider jerseys from the race, will then be auctioned off. JGRMX will also be offering the graphics kit for a limited time via www.jgrmx.com, with all proceeds going to R2R.

Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing team manager, Jeremy Albrecht, added, “I noticed that there weren’t any themed Supercross races this year, but I wanted to do something special that would help the sport. Jimmy Button and I came up with the idea and began working on an action plan to make it happen. We hope this weekend’s race raises awareness for the Road 2 Recovery Foundation and provides financial support for their initiatives.”
